pebbles
A little info about this image.
Martin and I loved to spend weekends at Penmon Point on Anglesey. We both could recharge our batteries at this place. Many of times we stayed over night in the car, Martin fishing, me reading a book, being near the sea, bbq’s at the beach, listening to the waves at night, watching the moon rise-illuminating the sea, watching the sunset and rise, eating the fish Martin caught, feeling at peace from the day to day challenges of life.
Martin took inspiration for his art from everywhere and mostly when he felt in tune with nature. His brain soaked everything up, always creating in his mind. Camera always with us where ever we went. Photography inspired painting, painting inspired photography.
On this particular day, people had created a large number of balancing pebble zen towers. We arrived at twilight, hardly anyone was left at the beach, the atmosphere tranquil and serene. Martin and I went around the beach, him capturing this beautiful calm image and many more of the other towers, reflecting the atmosphere at the beach.
